Ocean Springs uses quick start to take down Petal, 27-17

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV) — Ocean Springs started strong and held on for a win in its home-opener, beating Petal 27-17 at Greyhound Stadium to start the year 2-0.

Solomon Baggett scored the first two touchdowns of the night for the Greyhounds, who quickly took at 13-0 lead. The Panthers responded with a long touchdown pass to cut the lead to just six points.
