Ocean Springs tabs Jake Bramlett as next football head coach
Ocean Springs Greyhounds named Jake Bramlett as their next head football coach, two months to the day after Blake Pennock left to take the same job at Gulfport.
Bramlett served as the offensive coordinator each of the last three seasons and will look to build on a historic run that saw OS go to South State last season for the first time in 13 years on the back of a three-year mark of 32-5, led by the first ever two-time winner of 6A Mr. Football, now Alabama freshman Bray Hubbard.
Bramlett posted a tweet this evening saying: “Blessed is an understatement. My family and I are beyond excited to start this journey with an amazing school district and community. Thank you all for the outpouring of support. I am forever grateful.”
Bramlett will be officially introduced at a press conference on Thursday.
