Ocean Springs students take part in senior walk
Ocean Springs, Miss. (WXXV)- Seniors from Ocean Springs High School took a nostalgic walk down memory lane this week as part of a heartfelt tradition.
The Class of 2025 laced up their caps and gowns, visiting Magnolia Park, Oak Park, and Upper Elementary – all schools they once called home.
Smiles, hugs and even a few tears filled the halls as they reconnected with old teachers and marveled at what has changed, as well as what stayed the same.
It’s a proud moment for these soon-to-be graduates, celebrating how far they’ve come and where they’re headed next.
“It is so bitter sweet to see everyone in one place again and just all come together and look back on our memories,” said Mary Carlton Descher. “I’ve literally have been crying like all day because all the little kids have made signs and it’s just really wholesome to see that they are going to be us one day, and we were them one day and it’s really crazy.”
