Ocean Springs Seafood and Music Festival

Sweet tunes and savory smells will be in the air this weekend at the Ocean Springs Seafood and Music Festival.

Dozens of bands will hit the stage Saturday and Sunday as well as 2018 “American Idol” contestant Layla Spring with Dixie Spring and 2011 “The Voice” contestant Serabee.

There will be games, arts and crafts, vendors, and the greatest seafood in one location. All funds from the event are going to be donated to the Jackson County Animal Shelter and the Do More Pantry.

Maridee Mallette with the Jackson County Animal Shelter tells News 25 they are always in need of extra funds. “The money is going to go to all kinds of things like parvo treatments, heart worm treatment, sponsoring animals to get adopted, things like that. Last year we had a blast, lots of people came and hopefully this year people will turn out. It’s going to be a great time. There is going to be all kinds of booths set up with food and drinks and animals are going to be here.”

There will only be a$25 adoption fee for pets at the festival.
