Ocean Springs School District making changes to COVID-19 policy

The Ocean Springs School District is making some changes to its COVID-19 policy as cases continue to rise.

Starting today, visitor access will be restricted on all Ocean Springs school campuses as a precaution to protect students and staff.

Also, meetings and conferences within the district will be held virtually over Zoom or by telephone.

The district, however, says athletic events and extracurricular activities will not be impacted by this policy.

Ocean Springs School District leaders will re-evaluate the policy at the end of the month.
