Ocean Springs Road flooded

A few homes on Ocean Springs Road fell victim to the rain.
Here’s a look at some of the homes on Ocean Springs Road, just south of I-10 off of Highway 57. The water came right up to the door of some homes, potentially causing damage inside. Most other homes on this road are elevated and out of reach for these flood waters.
The south side of Ocean Springs Road, close to the interstate, was flooded halfway, leaving one lane dry for most of the way. Many drivers decided not to risk it and turned around, but others pressed their luck.
When News 25 was out there around 1:30 this afternoon, there were no barricades at the time.
