Ocean Springs rings in the New Year with inaugural ball drop

The City of Ocean Springs drew a massive crowd New Year’s Eve for its inaugural ball drop.

The event featured live music from “The Tree-Oh” and “Unfazed Show & Band.”

The dropping of the LED ball served as a visual countdown to the New Year.

A few attendees shared their New Year’s Resolutions for 2024 as well.

“Maybe reading like a book once a month. Like, finishing a book once a month,” said Dominique Burse, a resident of Hattiesburg. “That’s what I’m gonna do.”

“My New Year’s Resolution is to start my future in the military and be great and serve this country,” said Destiny Medina, a resident of Ocean Springs.

“Happy New Year!” shared Sarah Hall of Biloxi.
