Ocean Springs police search for armed robbery suspect

Ocean Springs police are searching for the man involved in an armed robbery at a Dollar General on Tuesday.

According to police, the suspect entered the Dollar General on Government Street near Walnut Drive, brandished a firearm and demanded money from the cashier.

The suspect fled the scene shortly after with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 6 feet tall, and approximately 240 pounds. His face was concealed with a mask.
