Ocean Springs Police investigating shooting over botched robbery

Ocean Springs Police are investigating a late night shooting at the Blu Heat Hookah Lounge that apparently started over a botched robbery.

Officers responded about 10:22 p.m. to the lounge about a report of about 15 rounds being fired at the location. Multiple vehicles were hit by gunfire, but there were no victims at the scene.

A call to area hospitals showed that a minor and an adult were at Biloxi Merit Hospital ER with gunshot wounds. Officers were told the wounds were a result of a botched robbery of a PlayStation 5.
