Help Ocean Springs Police Department with new crime-fighting app

You can help Ocean Springs police in the fight against crime.

It’s right at the tips of your fingers thanks to the launch of the Relay App several days ago.

Ocean Springs residents and visitors are encouraged to download the app and report any criminal or suspicious activity they may observe.

If you have any emergency however, you should call 911.

As for the app, those who sign up will receive direct alerts and updates from the police department and follow ups on calls.

News 25 checked in with Ocean Springs Mayor Shea Dobson who recently downloaded the app himself. “I’ve downloaded it on my phone, and I’ve kind of played with it. I’m still learning myself. It is pretty easy to navigate and get around.
