Ocean Springs night parade set to roll Friday

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Ocean Springs is sharing details on Friday’s night parade.

The route is set to roll through the downtown area at 6 p.m. The parade starts on Front Beach before ending at Holcomb Boulevard and Government Street.

Side streets along the route will be barricaded and monitored until the parade is over.

Roads and the parade route will close about one hour prior to the start.

Signs will be in place along the route, saying ‘no parking after 3:30 a.m.’ Those will be in place Thursday night.

Any cars in the area may be towed.

There will be no parking along Government Street, Washington Avenue, or Porter Avenue.

Front Beach will also be one-way westbound only during parade operations.
