Ocean Springs native McCarty English gets first career win with Golden Eagles!

Ocean Springs native and Southern Miss right-handed pitcher McCarthy English got the nod on the mound for his fourth Sunday in a row. Not only did English do his job, but he did his best job yet. He threw five solid innings with five strikeouts, no earned runs and only one walk and three hits that occurred in his last two innings of work. The Golden Eagles went on to sweep North Alabama with a score of 9 to 2. Head Coach Christian Ostrander and English spoke to WXXV after his first ever collegiate career win.
