Ocean Springs martial arts owner charged with sexual battery

The owner of an Ocean Springs martial arts school is in the Jackson County Adult Detention Center, charged with sexual battery. Sheriff Mike Ezell says 48-year-old Allen Todd Pisarich is charged with two counts of sexual battery of a juvenile known to him.
The sheriff says an investigation of Pisarich started last November after allegations of sexual abuse and inappropriate conduct by Pisarich towards juveniles he knew and with whom he had contact. Pisarich is the owner of Academy Mixed Martial Arts.
U.S. marshals arrested Pisarich this afternoon. There may be other charges against him as the investigation continues. Pisarich is expected in court for an initial hearing Monday.
