Ocean Springs man sentenced for sexual battery and exploitation of a child

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- An Ocean Springs man was sentenced for sexual battery and exploitation of a child in Jackson County Circuit Court Monday.
Thirty-four-year-old Justin Wayne Allday pled guilty to one count of sexual battery and one count of exploitation of a child.
According to officials, Allday admitted during his plea to having sex with a 14-year-old boy he met on Snapchat.
During the investigation, a search of Allday’s phone showed that he had an ongoing Snapchat conversation with another 15-year-old boy in Alabama. According to officials, he tried to have that child sneak out and meet him to engage in sexual activity.
Allday was sentenced to a total of 50 years with 25 years to serve in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. The remaining 25 will be served on post-release supervision.
Because of the nature of the crimes, Allday must serve the 25 years day-for-day without the hope of early release or parole.
