Ocean Springs man indicted in 2009 disappearance of Massachusetts woman

WORCHESTER, Mass. (WXXV)- A murder indictment has been returned against an Ocean Springs man in the 2009 disappearance of a Worchester, Massachusetts woman.

According to Worchester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr., 64-year-old Albert Carabba was indicted on one count of murder in the disappearance and murder of his ex-girlfriend 36-year-old Patricia Santos.

Santos was reported missing in May 2009.

Carabba was taken into custody without incident in Ocean Springs by detectives with the Ocean Springs Police Department with assistance from the Worchester Police Department.

He will be returned back to Massachusetts and arraigned in court there at a later date.
