Ocean Springs man dies in accident on I-10

An Ocean Springs man died Tuesday night in an accident on I-10.

Jackson County Coroner Bruce Lynd Jr. identified the man as 53-year-old Andrew Ford of Ocean Springs.

Lynd said Ford was eastbound on I-10 and there was an accident in front of him near Exit 50.

Vehicles began braking because of the accident and Ford was unable to stop his motorcycle, hitting the vehicle in front of him.

Ford was pronounced dead at the scene.
