Ocean Springs Man Denied Bond

Fifty nine year old Phillip Spear will be held without bond, pending a trial, on charges of producing and distributing child pornography out of his home. This was decided at his preliminary hearing at the Gulfport Courthouse this morning. According to public records, an investigation beginning in May led investigators to his home in Ocean Springs last Thursday where he was arrested under suspicion of owning and participating in child pornography.
