Ocean Springs man arrested for auto burglary

An Ocean Springs man has been arrested and charged with auto burglary after stealing a pistol from a man’s truck.

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell reports that 37-year-old Robert Williams was arrested after a man reported his pistol missing when he returned to his truck at the Mississippi Crab Company.

It was determined that Williams, an employee at the crab company, had stolen the pistol and pawned it off in Ocean Springs the same day.
