Ocean Springs Main Street makes it snow for the holidays!
The forecast called for 70 degrees and snowy in Downtown Ocean Springs.
It was a sight to behold as Ocean Springs Main Street made it snow in Downtown Ocean Springs for the Holiday Open House!
Children and families dodged snowballs as they frolicked through the snow.
They were also able to adopt a reindeer and enjoy hot chocolate.
The last time it snowed in Ocean Springs was 2015, so Ocean Springs Main Street is excited to bring the tradition back.
“It’s been quite a while since we actually made it snow in Ocean Springs, so we’re very excited to bring it back to Downtown Ocean Springs. And here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, we don’t get snow very often, but when you are at a place where you see snow, everyone smiles,” said Cynthia Sutton, executive director of Ocean Springs Main Street. “Whether you’re young, a kid, whether you’re an adult, this is just a fun way to bring a little bit of cheer to Ocean Springs during the holiday season.”
Holiday Open House is December 8th and 9th. Be sure to head out and enjoy the holiday festivities!
