Ocean Springs lawyer in critical condition after assault

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an assault that left Ocean Springs lawyer Earl Denham in critical condition.

According to the incident report, Denham was with his girlfriend on the patio at Bridgewater Apartments. The girl’s ex showed up angry at Denham for his relationship with the woman. The man allegedly struck Denham while leaning over the railing on the patio.

Denham didn’t feel the need to go to the doctor until he started having severe headaches and ended up hospitalized in critical condition.
