Ocean Springs King Cake Tasting Contest

Joining us today is Cynthia Sutton with Ocean Springs Main Street. She’s here to tell us about the King Cake Tasting contest.

Each week beginning February 3, the Ocean Springs Visitors Center will serve a variety of king-cake treats to those who pass through town. Visitors and locals will have the opportunity to sample the king cakes or king cake treats and vote for their favorite. A certificate will be awarded to the business voted with the best king cake in town at the end of the season.

The contest will run through February 28. Those interested in voting can stop by the Ocean Springs Visitors Center/Ocean Springs Chamber -Main Street during business hours Monday – Saturday to taste and vote.
