Ocean Springs installing bollards on Government Street

The City of Ocean Springs will be installing bollards to replace the use of barricades for special events along Government Street.
The construction for the installation of these bollards will take place at the intersection side streets along Government Street from Washington Avenue East to and including Denny Avenue.
Construction will take place over the next few months. The short posts aid in creating a physical barrier to help better protect pedestrians, property, and guide traffic while freeing up police officers who would otherwise have to remain at those intersections.
