Ocean Springs High School Hosts College Fair

Deciding which college to attend is one of the biggest decisions a high school student makes.
Officials at Ocean Springs High School aimed to make that decision easier for students by hosting a college and career fair this evening in the cafeteria. The fair featured booths from community colleges and universities both in state and out of state.
Representatives from the Air Force, Navy, and National Guard were also available for students interested in taking a different route after high school. Student Abby Brennan said, “I kind of came because I’m not sure what I want to do when I grow up and I figured this could give me some chances to figure out kind of where I want to go and what I want to major in and it’s definitely helping.”
Student Dalen Cook said, “I’m a senior. I’ve narrowed it down to two colleges: Mississippi State and Mississippi College. I’m trying to get a second-hand opinion about the college and make sure that’s really where I want to go.”
Ocean Springs students tell News 25 the college and career fair allows them the opportunity to get answers they normally would not be able to find online.
