Ocean Springs Fire Department receives grant money

The Ocean Springs Fire Department has just received grant money designed to help train the next generation of emergency medical technician.

The $48,378 grant will help the department train existing personnel to become nationally registered emergency technicians at the basic or advanced levels.

This grant money is awarded through the United States Department of Homeland Security.
