Ocean Springs eyes new dog park

If your four-legged friend needs extra space to exercise they may find a place very soon in Ocean Springs.
Alderman John Gill knocked on residents’ doors in the city for the past five months. He tells News 25 one of the biggest issues was not having a dog park in Ocean Springs.
City officials are now eyeing up different properties, hoping someone will dedicate a few acres of land for pooches to roam around and exercise. “All we have to do is put a fence around them, put amenities in the middle of it, and it would be great if you own a dog and he wants to exercise, it would be great, all sized dogs. So, we’re looking forward to that.”
