Ocean Springs Chamber-Main Street names best king cake of Mardi Gras Season

Ocean Springs, MS – March 5, 2025 – After a season of sweet competition, visitors to the Ocean Springs Visitors Center have spoken!

Sucre Dolot Bakery has been crowned the winner of the 2025 Ocean Springs King Cake Contest.

Throughout the Mardi Gras season, the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street Tourism Bureau invited both travelers and locals to stop by the Visitors Center, sample a variety of king cake treats, and vote for their favorite.

The contest not only satisfied sweet cravings but also served as a fun and delicious way to educate visitors about the rich traditions of Mardi Gras. “What better way to spark conversations about Mardi Gras than through the flavors of this iconic treat?” said Cynthia Sutton, CEO of the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street Tourism Bureau.
