OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- An annual event scheduled in Downtown Ocean Springs for next week has been canceled.

The Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce Tourism Bureau, in partnership with Mitchell Distributing, announced that the 2025 Bud and Burgers-Tailgate Edition has been canceled.

The event was originally scheduled for September 13.

In a statement, the Chamber said that “While this annual event has become a local favorite, full of great food, live music, and friendly competition, circumstances this year prevent us from hosting the event as planned. The Chamber-Main Street looks forward to bringing Bud & Burgers back in the future and continuing the tradition of spotlighting our community’s creativity, hospitality, and culinary spirit.”
