Ocean Springs Bud & Burgers Cooking Competition set for September -Tailgate edition
Ocean Springs, MS) – Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau and Mitchell Distributing will host its community burger competition, Bud & Burgers, Ocean Springs Edition Saturday, September 14 from 3-9 p.m. at the L&N Depot Plaza featuring a Craft Beer Garden.
Beginning at 3 p.m. ticketed guests will be able to sample craft beers from multiple brewers and watch a popular football game on the big screen.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and enjoy craft beer and snacks until the cooking competition begins at 5 p.m.
The teams take to cooking at 5 p.m. The competition allows for home cooks, restaurants, businesses, or organizations to assemble teams to compete for prizes for the best burger. Teams will bring their grill and cook burgers of any variety.
There will be multiple winning categories including Best of Show, People’s Choice, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Interested teams are encouraged to register by calling the Ocean Springs Chamber – Main Street or stop by the Ocean Springs Visitors Center to sign up.

Individuals may purchase tickets for the Bud & Burgers Cooking Competition tasting for only $15 per person (5-9 p.m.) or purchase a ticket for $30 to come early (3-9 p.m.) and enjoy the Beer Garden, football, competition and tasting. Budweiser beverages will be available for purchase during the event.
