Ocean Springs announce arrest of man wanted on sex crime charges

The Ocean Springs Police Department arrested Andrew Steele of Ocean Springs today for two counts of touching a child for lustful purposes.

The assault was reported to police by the victim’s mother on December 6, the victim was known by the suspect.

Steele is currently being housed at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center and his bond has been set at $200,000.
