Ocean Springs alum Bart Edmiston Jr. receives MACCC Special Teams Player of the Week honors

When Ansley took over the Student Athlete of the Week segment three seasons ago, she started it off with a bang, and that bang was the powerful leg of Ocean Springs kicker and punter, Bart Edmiston Jr.! Well Edmiston Jr. , also known as iceman, is all grown up now and is absolutely killing it at the next level.Tuesday afternoon, Edmiston Jr. received some well deserved recognition by MACCC athletics.

After four punts of 50 plus yards with a long of 60 yards, and three insides the 20 yard line, Edmiston Jr. has been named the MACCC Special Teams Player of the Week.

This performance wasn’t out of the ordinary either, but is honestly a common theme.
