North Pearl River County Fire and Rescue hold training day

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The North Pearl River County Fire and Rescue hosted a training day recently.

Crews worked on hose advancement, focusing on getting water to the fire as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Firefighters worked on the serpentine drill, learning to maneuver charged hose lines through obstacles.

Crews also worked on improving communication, maintaining nozzle control, and advancing the line as a team.

The team says these drills help build muscle memory and confidence needed to operate in a real-world situation.
