Nominations now open for Mississippi Makers Challenge

Mississippi manufacturers are once again competing for statewide bragging rights.

The fifth annual Mississippi Makers Challenge gives companies across the state the chance to compete for the title of the ‘coolest thing made in Mississippi.’

This year’s contest features a tournament-style bracket with the first 32 products entered automatically earning a spot in the competition. If more than 32 products are nominated, the bracket will be expanded accordingly.

Product nominations are open through July 31 with the head-to-head voting beginning in August.

The winner will be announced September 9 during the Mississippi Business Alliance’s general assembly.

The competition has attracted more than 200,000 votes from around the world over the past two years, showcasing Mississippi manufacturing.
