No injuries reported after shooting near Krewe of Nereids parade in Waveland

WAVELAND, Miss (WXXV)– No injuries were reported after a shooting near the Krewe of Nereids parade route in Waveland Sunday afternoon.

Waveland Police Chief Mike Prendergast tells WXXV says it happened around 1 p.m, near the intersection of Highway 90 and Nicholson Avenue.

The parade kept rolling as scheduled after the shots were fired, once it was determined no one was injured.

Police have identified a suspect, but no arrests have been made at this time.
