No bond for accused killer

A judge revoked bond for the Long Beach man accused of murdering Deverick Johnson Monday night. According to the Harrison County Jail Docket, 28-year-old James McDowell is not bondable.
McDowell is accused of shooting Johnson in the head and fleeing the scene, causing a standoff with Gulfport police on Tuesday morning. Charity McDowell and Michael Taylor were also arrested for accessory after the fact in Johnson’s murder.
The docket shows a history of felony charges against McDowell, including a drive-by shooting arrest in 2016.
