Nikki Haley drops out of the republican presidential race
Nikki Haley is exiting the republican presidential race following a series of losses in GOP Super Tuesday nominating contests.
Sources familiar with her plans say the former South Carolina governor is not planning to endorse Donald Trump just yet — instead calling on him to earn the support of those who backed her.
Haley was the last of a dozen major candidates trying to challenge Trump for the nomination, but she never gained enough traction with voters.
Still — Haley became the first republican woman to win two primary races — in Vermont and the District of Columbia.
This move by Haley makes Trump the presumptive nominee for the GOP presidential nomination.
