Nightly closures of Fort Bayou Bridge begin tonight
A heads up for drivers in Jackson County, the Fort Bayou Bridge will be closed overnight the next three days.
The Highway 609 drawbridge will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. today, tomorrow, and Thursday for maintenance.
The bridge will remain open during the day, but anyone who uses it during those overnight hours will need to find an alternate route.
