NFL makes headway on COVID safety measures

The NFL and its players association making headway on coronavirus safety protocols, having now agreed on daily testing for the first two weeks of training camp.

That could be dialed down to every other day if the initial batch of results comes back below five percent. Otherwise, daily testing will remain in place until the results meet that threshold.

Also according to multiple reports, the league offered to scrap the preseason altogether pending a response from the NFLPA.
