News 25 speaks with family member of Larry Spicer
On Monday, News 25 shared the sad news about Larry Spicer, the man who was found dead after being missing for a week.
Today, News 25 spoke with Spicer’s sister-in-law, Jean Hudson, about Mr. Spicer and how the tragedy has impacted them since hearing the news. “Larry had been in the family for 24 years. He was married to my sister and Mr. Larry was just a good person. He had recently retired about 6 years ago from Texas Tow as an engineer and he spent four years in the Navy. He has a step-son and step-daughter and they loved him as their own dad. He was good to them just like he was their biological daddy. We all loved Larry and he is going to be missed tremendously. I mean I don’t know the words to say for him to describe how much we love Larry.”
Jackson County K-9, George County Search and Rescue, Lucedale Police Department, Mississippi Highway Patrol, and Mississippi Bureau of Investigation assisted in the search for Spicer, who was found not far from where he was last seen.
