New voting machines approved in Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Harrison County Board of Supervisors held a meeting on Monday.

They approved the purchase of 115 new voting machines.

According to Harrison County Circuit Clerk Justin Wetzell, the new machines take a photo of the ballot at the same time as scanning.

The new scanners are said to operate faster and better than the current equipment.
