New restaurants added to Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport

The Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport and Faber celebrated their grand opening on Wednesday for their three new restaurants.

Faber is a restaurant and retail concessionaire for airports around the country. Passengers passing through will be able to have more options when it comes to food and alcohol.

The new choices include Chandeleur Island Brewing Company, Coffee Connection, and Sonic.

The plans for the restaurants started in 2022 and construction started the beginning of this year. Gulfport Biloxi International Airport Executive Director Clay Williams said, “We thought it was important to give passengers and visitors to this market something synonymous with the area. We want it to be local a flavor, not just anywhere in the United States, but something that’s here on the Coast.”

The timing for the restaurant couldn’t have been any better since the airport is now offering new seasonal flights.
