New public access portion of Front Beach in Ocean Springs
The Ocean Springs Board of Aldermen has awarded a bid to build the public access portion of the Front Beach Public Events Center and Marina.
The move was made at the first meeting of the new year Tuesday night. The project will create a public event space and marina at the former Fayard Seafood Property on Front Beach.
It’s supported through GOMESA Funds through the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources. The property was purchased and funded by the City of Ocean Springs and Jackson County.
