New Orleans Saints staying in Superdome for now
Perhaps the best home field advantage in the entire NFL belongs to the New Orleans Saints, but due to COVID-19, fans haven’t been a part of that all year and that doesn’t appear to be changing, at least any time soon.
As first reported by The Athletic, the Saints will be staying at Mercedes Benz Superdome for the time being despite attempts at moving upcoming home games to LSU’s Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge that includes Sunday’s home game against the Carolina Panthers and a November 15th date with the San Francisco 49ers, one day after LSU plays host to Alabama.
Their November 22nd home game against the Atlanta Falcons is still on the table if New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell remains steadfast in her attempts at keeping fans out of the dome.
The Saints and Panthers will kick off at noon Sunday.
