New movie begins filming in Ocean Springs

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- Filming for a new movie begins this week in the City of Discovery.

The Ocean Springs Board of Alderman met in a special session last Friday to approve the filming. The name of the production is still not yet known at this time.

However, as a result of the filming, there will be a temporary road closure on Washington Avenue between Government Street and Porter Avenue from 8 a.m. until noon on Tuesday.
