New Moss Point fire chief sworn in

The City of Moss Point has a new fire chief.

Jason Davis was sworn in in front of family and friends at Tuesday’s Board of Alderman meeting. Davis has served as a first responder for many years in South Mississippi, including a stint as assistant fire chief in Biloxi.

The fire chief position in the River City opened up after former chief Danny Wade’s retirement in March.
