New LED lights installed at Kiln-Delisle Street

After one deadly wreck and many complaints from parents, four new LED lights were installed today along Kiln-Delisle Road.
The Hancock County School District ordered the lights from Coast Electric. This action comes less than a week after a mother was killed and two of her sons were injured crossing after leaving a Christmas program at East Hancock Elementary School.
The new lights will cost $35 per light per month and the total cost is less than $1,000 a year to operate.
