New images regarding hit and run that injured 13-year-old in Gulfport

On June 10, 2023, at approximately 9:01 p.m., the Gulfport Police Department responded to the 15000 block of Dedeaux Road in reference to a hit and run involving a pedestrian.

Upon arrival, Officers located a juvenile victim laying in the roadway. The victim was transported to a local area hospital and later life-flighted to the University of South Alabama Medical Center. The victim was listed in serious condition.

Through the course of the investigation, Officers spoke to witnesses on scene that observed a blue sedan traveling eastbound in the left lane strike the victim and continue driving eastbound.
