New home care provider on the Coast

A new in-home care provider is headed to the Coast and looking for employees.

WR Community Services looks after the elderly and people with disabilities in the comfort of their home. The home care provider held a job fair this afternoon searching for certified nurse assistants and personal care assistants.

The company is based out of Memphis, but has 13 locations between Tennessee and Mississippi. The newest office is located in Biloxi. WR Community Services State Director Kelly Bailey said, “A lot of people don’t understand, but a lot of people do, that the elderly and disabled need a little extra help. Some need help with bathing, changing. Some need help with everyday life skills, cooking them a meal, or dressing themselves. That’s what we’re here to provide services to them so that they do not have to go to a nursing home.”
