New historical marker for 1814 Battle of Bay St. Louis
The city of Bay St. Louis is receiving recognition for a battle that took place in 1814.
A new state historical marker is being unveiled on December 14th, coinciding with the anniversary of the Battle of Bay St. Louis.
That ceremony is being held at the intersection of North Beach Boulevard and Ulman Avenue.
The Mystic Krewe of the Seahorse will be reenacting the battle on the same day.
