New details in George County death investigation
GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- George County sheriff’s investigators are releasing new details about an ongoing death investigation.
The investigation stems from a shooting nearly a week ago in the Central community.
Deputies received a 911 call about a domestic violence fight and shooting at a home.
There, they found a 60-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound.
The woman who made the 911 call was taken to the hospital to have injuries from the altercation treated. She was released from custody after an interview with investigators.
This is an active investigation and sheriff’s investigators say no one information is being released right now.
