New Candidate for Mayor Wants to Bring Change to Ocean Springs

There’s a new candidate running for mayor in Ocean Springs and his focus is change.
Local businessman and conservative Republican Shea Dobson officially announced his candidacy for mayor in front of the civic center in Ocean Springs this morning. Dobson is a longtime supporter of the conservative movement in our state.
Raised in Ocean Springs, Dobson tells News 25 he plans to work with the city alderman to ensure tax dollars are spent efficiently. “Now is the perfect opportunity. I think people are ready for a change. We need all of our residents represented. We need to make sure that all the way from Front Beach to the east end of town, part town and all of the neighborhoods, we need to make sure that all of the neighborhoods are represented and not just a certain faction that may be politically connected.”
Dobson has worked with national and statewide conservative organizations.
